In the past few months I have been asked many times by diners at Euro and fans of Masterchef New Zealand, to share a bit about who I am, what I like and my favourite recipes. I am always happy to do so, however until now doing so has been limited to conversations and emails. I am thrilled to finally be able to launch my very own website as it allows me the opportunity to give something to everyone out there that has an interest in food. Please enjoy the following pages, have a good look around and let me know what you think! I would love to hear your comments, or suggestions for content you would like to see on my site.
Lastly, don't forget to have a browse through my recipe pages. I have personally selected all of them as both my favourites and most popular. Together, I guess we could say they are "our favourites." There is a good mix of light meals, main course and desserts with a balance between simple and gourmet ingredients. I also threw in a couple of cocktail recipes for good measure. I'll be adding new recipes all the time, so I'm sure you'll find something you love. Bon appétit!
A bit about Simon - Innovative and enterpreneurial chef Simon Gault started as an apprentice chef at Antoines in Parnell - just the first in a string of top restaurants in New Zealand and Europe where he gained invaluable and varied experience. More recently he has been involved in running several high profile New Zealand Restaurants and is currently starring as a judge on TV One's Masterchef New Zealand.

Simon is busy developing an amazing range of food products and will be kicking off with chicken, beef and vegetable stock, as well as several flavours of meat seasonings. The range is of superb quality, being made with only the freshest full flavoured ingredients, as you would come to expect from a chef of Simon's calibre. Watch out for them in your local deli, and of course, we'll keep you up to date with information about the launch dates right here. Watch this space!
