Ingredients

Method

  1. In a large bowl add mince, egg, mustard, herbs, salt, pepper and Moroccan seasoning. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Form into 4 patties and refrigerate until ready to cook.
  2. In another large bowl mix together parsley, balsamic, Tabasco and mayonnaise. Add cabbage to bowl and stir until well coated in mayonnaise mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook 3–4 minutes (depending on thickness) then flip and cook the other side for a further 3–4 minutes, until patties are just cooked though.
  4. Meanwhile, toast burger bun halves in oven until golden.
  5. To assemble, place a small amount of slaw on bun bottom halves then layer up with tomato, pork patties and more slaw. Finish with bun top halves and serve.

Use your hands to mix the meat patty ingredients.

You can also brown patties in the pan and then finish off cooking in the oven; or cook them on a BBQ grill. Burger buns can be toasted on the BBQ as well.

To stop the burgers from going everywhere when you eat them, hold them in place with a bamboo skewer inserted into the middle.
